About this artwork
In my work, strong red tones with golden accents merge to create an abstract painting, a play of light and shadow. What emerges here is a powerful expression of longing and passion, an emotional turmoil, captured in acrylic and gilding and collage elements of an old book page. Like small fragments from bygone times, the old characters, framed by gold leaf, shine through the abstract and structured-looking surface.
The image represents the search… and pursuit of light in the darkness, a feeling of hope and the infinite depth of human emotions. It will add a captivating energy to your space.
I painted the painting directly on an aluminum Dibond plate, which has a suspension on the back, so that the painting hangs three-dimensionally in front of the wall at a distance of approx. 1 cm.
