« My interest as a visual artist is to grasp the desperate beauty within abnormality, as well as to picture its effects in human life, in human experience. »
Veronica Huacuja is a Mexican artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom. She describes her blend of figurative and abstract artworks as being "obscure", depicting the human condition. Huacuja explores humanity and its precarious conditions through temporality, decadence, illness, and pain.
