Veronika Krobs is an established artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Austria and Australia. She also attended international art projects in cooperation with the German Embassy in Slovenia and Australia. Working in series, her bold abstract expressionist paintings are characterised by intense colors. Each artwork represents a uniquely personal interpretation of colour and form. Bas-relief surfaces create a distinctive material aesthetic and depth. In her intuitive artistic process, Krobs most often uses acrylics and mixed media on canvas, employing spatulas, brushes, spray bottles, sponges and her hands to create engaging surfaces, shapes, and textures.
