About this artwork
This painting brings together my abstract avant-garde language through a vision of sky, clouds, and moving light. Shades of blue and shifting reflections transform the texture into something living and airy.
In its contemplation of nature, the composition may recall Japanese sky-style painting through its calmness, fluidity, and abstraction.

Veronika Sarma is a contemporary artist working at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and avant-garde influences. Her practice is rooted in the exploration of inner states and the subconscious, expressed through the emotional language of color and form.
She builds intuitive, rhythmic compositions in which gesture, color, and structure become instruments of transformation and inner freedom.
Drawing inspiration from the legacy of European avant-garde movements of the 1920s–1930s, the artist reinterprets their spirit through a contemporary visual language that bridges intuition and conceptual depth.
Since 2008, she has created more than 130 artworks and participated in over forty exhibitions across Europe and the Middle East, including Paris (art3f, Galerie Thuillier, Art Shopping – Carrousel du Louvre), London, Berlin, and Venice.
She has recently presented a solo exhibition in Paris (April–May) and is currently exhibiting in Geneva at The House of Art gallery.
