About this artwork
Inspired by the map of Paris and its spiral arrangement, resembling the shape of a snail shell, this painting reveals a city of many faces – vibrant and full of contrasts.
Like the colors of my artworks, Paris appears here as an infinitely diverse world, filled with different rhythms of life, personalities, and emotions, where residents, travelers, and dreamers become enchanted and sometimes remain forever, captivated by its beauty, richness, and… radiant energy.

Veronika Sarma is a contemporary artist working at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and avant-garde influences. Her practice is rooted in the exploration of inner states and the subconscious, expressed through the emotional language of color and form.
She builds intuitive, rhythmic compositions in which gesture, color, and structure become instruments of transformation and inner freedom.
Drawing inspiration from the legacy of European avant-garde movements of the 1920s–1930s, the artist reinterprets their spirit through a contemporary visual language that bridges intuition and conceptual depth.
Since 2008, she has created more than 130 artworks and participated in over forty exhibitions across Europe and the Middle East, including Paris (art3f, Galerie Thuillier, Art Shopping – Carrousel du Louvre), London, Berlin, and Venice.
She has recently presented a solo exhibition in Paris (April–May) and is currently exhibiting in Geneva at The House of Art gallery.
