« I am a tightrope walker, I travel on the wire between the real and the imaginary. My creations are poems in pictures. For me, poetry and painting, as I express it, are twin sisters. »
Veronique Peytour is a painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. She describes her art as being a reflection of her emotional puzzle. In each of Peytour's creations, there lies "a little girl, a woman, or a mother" that is attached to nature, life, and to the "multitudes of little lives that compose them". Her distinctive pieces are created using acrylics and pigments on canvas.
