About this artwork
Everything is connected to everything else – this idea is at the heart of the work "Verstrickt 1." Worked in acrylic, it reveals intertwined shapes and lines that symbolize the togetherness and interconnectedness of life. The chalice, as a central motif, evokes the cycle of life, in which everything flows into one another. The bold colors and dynamic composition lend the painting a special tension and depth that continually captivates the eye.

Austria
Petra Köck-Reiter, born in Vienna, works as a self-taught painter mainly with oil, acrylic and mixed media on canvas as well as on painted objects and wall designs.
She combines subtle figurative elements with multi-layered color compositions and incorporates influences from Surrealism and Viennese Fantastic Realism, but goes far beyond them artistically.
Her works are reflections of inner landscapes and invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a world full of emotions, dreams and inner resonance.
