This painting is about emotion, and letting go. I painted my model at a very important time when a life changing decision was being decided and a letting go was about to happen. The title Nevermore came to me as a memory of a painting by Gauguin which I saw many years ago.It seemed appropriate for this painting. I decided on a green background because when we let go of something , something new arises on our horizon.
