About this artwork

I am so proud of this painting! I was inspired by the beautiful fall scenery I saw in Colorado, where the aspen trees turn a vibrant golden yellow. I wanted to capture the feeling of the crisp mountain air and the sound of the rushing stream. The way the light hits the snow-capped peak in the distance and illuminates the golden leaves is breathtaking. The texture of the paint, applied with a palette knife, adds a sense of movement and energy to… the water and the trees. It feels like a moment frozen in time, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.
