I created Valley of Summer Light in my impasto style, using thick layers of paint and expressive palette-knife textures to bring the landscape to life. Inspired by a mountain meadow in full summer bloom, I wanted to capture the brilliance of sunlight across wildflowers, flowing water, and evergreen forests. The textured surface catches the light, adding depth and movement to the scene. Through this painting, I celebrate the… beauty, energy, and sense of renewal that nature offers during its brightest season.
