About this artwork
Under the stressful times we relish the normal times!
This painting was created in March-April 2020 during Covid-19 crisis.
This is any family who is quarantined in the four walls of their home for several weeks all over the world. They have only a slim hope of a narrow escape safely out of this crisis into the better future.
Although as optimistic the human nature is to be, they are ready to believe that things will be better soon yet they… fear that coronavirus is everywhere and they have an uncertain future if they step outside.
This painting shows the dichotomy of a family wanting to believe in bright future and venture out courageously yet doubting the situation could ever be as it were before!

« Art and creativity are my nirvana! »
Vikash Jha is an Indian artist with a passion for color. As an artist he has experimented with multiple mediums, from watercolors, acrylics and oil paints to charcoals and pastels. A non-conformist by nature he often incorporates materials such as marble dust, fabric and sand beads in his work. This fearless approach along with his use of bright imagery have led Jha's paintings to be described as conveying a sense of joy, exuberance, hopefulness and purpose.
