About this artwork
This abstract composition seems to capture the moment of a spatial rupture, where two opposing states collide – fiery matter and an endless expanse of water.
The left side, filled with warm rust-orange tones, resembles the surface of ancient metal or a scorched desert, burned by time. Its texture is rough, like traces of decay or remnants of civilization left in the sands of history.
The right side is the depth of a blue world, reminiscent of the… ocean or distant galaxies. A blend of ultramarine, turquoise, and violet hues creates the illusion of water, sky, or space, drawing the eye into infinity.
A thin curved boundary between these worlds serves as a line of fate, a threshold of change, a transition from one state to another. It seems to sever eternity, revealing the mystery hidden beyond the limits of our perception.
