Viktor Kucheryavyy, a Ukrainian artist, is drawn to the classical-realistic style of painting, endeavoring to capture fleeting moments within his works. The relationship between light and darkness, the ever-changing essence of water, as well as the heaviness and crispness in the air, are themes that continuously inspire his compositions. Kucheryavyy creates using oils, sometimes in combination with acrylics, and builds up a depth of color through layers, adding hues in thin translucent coats.
