I adore creating an interplay between recognizable and abstract forms. The familiar and the foreign. I am fascinated with the relationship between the ordinary things which surround us and the variety of meanings they contain. An ordinary thing or creature can lose their original meanings and change, it may hold different meanings depending on the viewer. These new points of view on ordinary things we got used to are a point of confusion, humor…

Viktor Vinichenko is a painter and textile artist based in Ukraine whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally and in Luxembourg. He describes his artistic expression as embodying the possibility of sharing "the lost colors of life" as well as his inner light with the world. Creating in series, Vinichenko's expressive works are most often made using oils and acrylics on canvas.
