About this artwork
This work from the Fragments of Time series reflects the transitional moments that connect the past, present and future. There is a sense of movement and dynamics in the collage, created by alternating textures, lines and colours. Black and grey elements symbolise stability and shadows of the past, while gold inserts and fragments of text indicate bright prospects and the potential of the future.
The use of different materials, such as magazine… pages, scraps of text, and paint strokes, highlights the idea of connecting inconsistencies, turning them into a single whole. This creation process resembles the kintsugi method, where cracks turn into ornaments, symbolising acceptance and reinterpretation of imperfections.
"Echo of Change" invites the viewer to reflect on the impact of time, the meaning of change, and how it reflects on ourselves. It is the art of reinterpretation and connection, where each element finds a new meaning in the overall composition.
