About this artwork
Original quadriptych created in oil on primed paper using expressive brushwork and a layered painterly surface. The composition consists of four small paintings connected through a shared palette and rhythmic structure. Strong dark vertical forms contrast with soft luminous shapes, creating a dynamic composition typical of contemporary abstract painting and modern geometric abstraction. Warm beige, ochre, cream and soft blue tones form a balanced… palette, making the work refined modern wall art and elegant minimal abstract art for contemporary interiors.
The quadriptych belongs to the series Fragments of Light, where the composition is built from fragments of light and memory. Each panel functions as an independent abstract composition, while together they form a unified visual rhythm. The intersections of vertical forms and colour planes resemble an architecture of light where luminous fragments assemble into a layered space.
Vita Daneva, an artist from Moldova, works diversely across painting, textiles, digital, and conceptual visual arts. She creates art using form, colours, and unexpected materials, transforming fragments of impressions into harmonized realities. Her intimate works echo her deep philosophical observations, perfused with messages about time, ecology, and human interconnectedness.
