About this artwork
This diptych, "Silence as it is" from the series "Echo of Silence" conveys a subtle state between sound and silence, between inner movement and peace. Light transparent layers of paint fall like a breath on the surface of the paper, forming spectacular vertical streams, like reflections of light penetrating through a curtain of sleep or a water surface.
Soft pastel shades interact with richer accents, creating a sense of the fluidity of time and… the presence of something inexpressible in words. The colours seem to dissolve into each other, losing their contours — like memories that can no longer be accurately restored, but which have left an imprint on the soul.
It's not just an image, it's an experience about how silence sounds inside, how it resonates in us, how carefully it holds the most vulnerable and delicate feelings.
