About this artwork
Oil on canvas. Original contemporary abstract painting from the "Memory of Spaces" series. Created using layered techniques with transparent glazes, rich texture and delicate linear elements that evoke depth and multidimensional space.
In this work, space becomes a repository of memory where architectural forms dissolve into emotional traces of time. Vertical lines, translucent layers and reflective structures evoke fragments of urban landscapes,… traces of presence and memories of places that continue to exist within the inner world. Soft tones of grey, ochre, olive and muted turquoise create an atmosphere of contemplation and stillness. Combining elements of contemporary abstract painting, atmospheric abstraction, layered abstraction and architectural abstraction, the painting creates a visual dialogue between memory, light and lived experience.
