About this artwork
Segments of driftwood alternate with acrylic coloured strips of birch ply. The driftwood length is cut from a single length, this gives the piece a strong continuity across the meandering horizontal.
The strong colours have an intensity against the grounded driftwood.
This is a light weight wall sculpture with the backboard hidden behind the driftwood and strips. A unique skeletal piece.

Two recessed keyhole slots are installed on the back, so the piece is ready to hang with just two secure screws in a wall. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush and secure to the wall.
