About this artwork
For this work, I was inspired by a photograph I had taken of a municipal employee pressure-washing the steps around the François Mitterrand Library.
I transposed the figure in front of a wall covered with fragments of advertising posters whose messages had become illegible.
The figure intervenes as if he wants to clean up this profusion in order to regain his peace and quiet.
