Vincent Corrèze is an artist born in 1999 in Eastern France, where he is still based today. His style combines expressionism with symbolism through portraits of a humanity which is both raw and colorful. Through this iconography, he explores the themes of identity, individuality, and reality.

He balances layers of pastel and acrylic to shape raw textures and colorful compositions. Every detail is meant to fragment a reality of his own: totemic faces, extravagant features, archaic lines and excessive colors.
His subjects are depicted distorted and unreadable, their faces dissolving in their own emotional conditions. Colors are the giveaway. They reveal a dark and decadent humanity, rooted in a sharp tension between presence and disappearance. The artist communicates this liminal state primarily through an unrefined and raw quality.
