About this artwork
In this composition, I sought to interpret a nighttime scene animated by the lights of shop windows, stores, and illuminated signs. The neon lights structure the space and create areas of contrast where chiaroscuro naturally prevails, revealing the presence of night. I wanted to capture this particular urban atmosphere, where artificial light shapes forms, guides the eye, and gives the scene an atmosphere that is both vibrant and mysterious.
