Floating graphic elements and textured surfaces generate tension between structure and instability, movement and suspension. The work does… not offer meaning; it exposes the viewer’s desire for it, turning the act of looking into the central experience.
Although conceived as an independent piece, No Context resonates with another work from the Portal series, Meaning Sold Separately. Together, they suggest a subtle diptych — a passage where the loss of context meets the negotiation of meaning.
