About this artwork
This painting is inspired by the area around Cley Marshes, Norfolk. In the 1950's shooting on the Marshes stopped and a Bird Sanctuary was declared. By 1979, the reserve had broadly taken on the shape and form seen today. This a fascinating area and the impact on it’s shape and form by man cannot be underestimated.
