About this artwork
This sculpture was conceived as one of a number of works related to the age of a person, with its time periods (childhood, adolescence, maturity, old age). It is the last in the series and personifies the old age. The expressiveness of this work is achieved with minimal means. Absolutely clean, simple shapes create an image filled with mood and emotion. The volume has been brought to a plastic formula tending to the sign.
