Vladislava Yakovenko is an emerging Slovakian artist whose work focuses on portraits and urban landscapes. Her work seeks to balance flatness and distorted perspective with depth and space. She has contextualized her work within the traditional of suprematism and orphism, two traditions which asserted the absolute self-sufficiency of compositions, texture, and color.
