About this artwork
In this oil painting, characterized by realism, I captured two boats in the calm waters of Övelgönne's old harbor. The rich, vibrant colors—the deep red and green—contrast with the soft gray of the water, creating a tranquil, almost meditative atmosphere. I wanted to capture the stillness and deep connection with nature that one feels in such a secluded place. This artwork brings a peaceful, contemplative energy to any home, a quiet reminder of the…
beauty of simplicity in everyday life.
