Looking at the sculpture we see the face of an ordinary man that is divided, torn into different pieces and so the gold sheets that surround it are like leaves moved by a furious wind. It is a momentary chaos, to recreate a new man, more aware of himself…

Walter Gualtiero Passarella is a multidisciplinary artist based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, Austria, and Hungary. One of his main themes is the portrayal of humanity in all of its infinite facets. Passarella creates using mixed media, often including photographs that he elaborates upon digitally. He paints using acrylics and oil pastels on canvas.
