About this artwork
In this work I combine predominantly blue acrylic tones, white acrylic/lacquer mixture and black acrylic ink on chalk/marble powder background to create an abstract composition that reflects both expressionist and metaphysical influences. The dynamic shapes of black traces and the delicate blue-turquoise depth of the colors symbolize for me the bubbling power of water melted into solid form and the ideas and thought structures that are involuntarily…
