About this artwork
In this piece, I've layered watercolor and ink to evoke the serene majesty of nature. The circular form represents continuity and wholeness, enveloping the viewer in a tranquil landscape. The textured mountains rise and fall like breaths, symbolizing resilience and the enduring spirit. It's a dialogue between the earth and sky, meant to bring a sense of calm and introspection to any space it graces.

« I love hiking. It's a journey of listening to my heart, which, for me, is similar to making art. »
Winnie KS Hui is an artist based in China whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in South Korea, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States. For her, art is a means through which she wanders between reality and imagination. Hui's contemporary Chinese ink landscapes glorify the beauty of nature and the worth of the human soul. In her artistic process, she fuses tradition with modernity.
