About this artwork
A dreamlike moment when light filters through the tree canopy and captures particles floating in a sunbeam. Seeing, relating to and expressing the temporal and transient nature of the landscape is the focus of my painting Hide and Seek. Like the felt experience of fractured light through the trees, the glass surface of my painting offers a similar sensation. Light bounces on the surface of the work, disrupting our visual field. Wendy Grace holds an Honours degree in Painting from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
