Wendy Hyde, born in 1956, is a British artist. Hyde creates Abstract Expressionist paintings that depict, not the physical world, but her emotions regarding the world she lives in. From 2001-2007 she was a part-time life drawing tutor, which she believes has really fed into her practice. Hyde is currently living and working in the West Midlands, in the UK.
