Behind the blue line
The artist painted and layered pieces of fabric in different shapes to create texture and a dimensional look , the stripes and dots on top create a certain order and balance, the story behind the painting , it was made in Covid time where everyone was restricted especially in Spain where the rules were to stay home for a long time . In the painting You can see birds trapped in a cage in an abstract way . The dots stand for… order and the colour blue for freedom. The painting was finished in 2024 a reminder on how great it is to feel free.
