“Urban streets”
Rush rush we are late for work. Streets are busy let’s take another route today.
This artwork is about order and chaos in the city, people rushing to get to work, traffic and noise, but underneath there is order, everything is organised and well prepared , a weekly repetition of life.
To create this artwork more than 6 layers are added there is so much to see from up close, texture, fine lines, overlapping colours with a peak trough… the earlier added layers, scratches and mark making. The mix of blue colours and grey represent concrete and sky, you would think that all those details and colour mixes hard lines, drips would be chaotic, but it’s not .The composition has a certain sense of order that just feels just right.
This work can be hung vertical and horizontal .
The sides are painted as well , it can be framed but also can be hang like this.
