About this artwork
Like all my work, this painting was not planned. It evolved into what it wanted to be. My fascination with Nature is influenced by my late father who was a Botany professor and maintained a wildflower garden behind our house growing up.
The painting reminds me of an umbel, or a flower made up of many tiny flowers.
