About this artwork
This work is a celebration of Indila's song Mini World which inspired me while listening to it. It advocates the diversity of human emotions, echoing the complexity of the world around us. I used Indian ink and colored pencils on felt to capture the dynamism and intensity of the feelings. Each segment tells a different story, conveying in my opinion themes of love, melancholy and the aspiration for freedom. The drawings express a desire to escape…
