About this artwork
In 2013, Xing Wei discovered a new field during his artistic research: lithography. During his internship at the Idem Paris workshop, an art printing house, which is located in the Montparnasse district. By observing the lithographs, or the original serigraphs of great artists, and sometimes crossing them, among which: Jean Michel Alberola, Sophie Calle, David Lynch, JR, etc., she conceived a project for lithography. This project was exceptionally…
proposed by Patrice Forest, the boss, named by “Ramble Over the Cloud”. As Xing Wei had said that we cross a forest, at certain stages of our life, and that we can rest there, or else cross it and leave it. This project edited by Item Paris, was built in agreement with the Idem Paris workshop, and will be studied and extended in the future.

« My work is mainly centered on nature and animals, on the coexisting way between them, but also on the crossroads of spirit and harmony established between the Eastern and Western vision. »
