This cinematic work evokes a conflicting madness. This canvas traces an experience.
To move on, I provoked painting. A large canvas was placed on the ground. Feeling the presence of a centaur, I became a bullfighter at whom I threw pots of paint. The oil splashed on the ground. As if on a banana peel, I slipped and fell, a glass jar broke in my hand. The cut was deep. The firefighters evacuated me, the operation was long, nerves, tendons, artery… severed. When I came home from the hospital, I needed to paint this scene. This painting was imposed on me, I had to paint it before I died. This long convalescence led me to dream of painting. It was by rehabilitating my hand that I learned to really paint. Thank you centaur, you gave me the strength, the strength to be patient, to listen and hear what wants to be painted.
