Yana Medow is a painter and printmaker from St. Petersburg, trained at the Stieglitz Art Academy and professionally experienced as a restorer, graphic designer, and illustrator. She employs contemporary figurative techniques with a Naive and Expressionist edge, using exaggerated volumes, curvaceous lines, and vibrant, luminescent acrylics to express the plasticity of the human form.
