Yann Hervis, born on February 15, 1956 in Juvisy-sur-Orge, is a contemporary French artist, whose aesthetic research, techniques and plastic vocabulary are multiple: in turn marquetry artist, draftsman, engraver, sculptor, designer, visual artist, with a constantly renewed creativity, he works with many materials, as diverse as wood, glass, bronze, corten steel, stainless steel, stone, paper, of which he explores, freely and in a very personal way, the innumerable possibilities, between forms and colors, poetry and modernity, acuity of the gaze and precision of the gesture. He has also carried out, in the public domain, large-scale artistic projects
