At first glance, the modern online world appears to be a space of freedom — open, limitless, and accessible to everyone. Yet behind this freedom lies responsibility: for one’s actions, for the choice of information, and for one’s presence in the digital environment.
Children are especially vulnerable in this space. For them, the internet can resemble a minefield: one step aside, and instead of discovering the world, they encounter traps of harmful… and prohibited content for which their minds are not yet prepared.
The work draws attention to the fragile boundary between freedom and danger in digital reality.

Yaroslav Kurbanov is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in Italy, Russia, Czechia, Finland, the United States, Mexico, China, and the Netherlands. His art attempts to answer the eternal questions of the origins of self, the meaning of one's life, and the essence of happiness and love. Kurbanov's compositions also explore loyalty and betrayal, fear and composure, as well as the discrepancies between the inner world and the external image.
