Hong Kong based painter Yat Sing Ha trained as an architect, and has worked in London, New York, and the Caribbean. Ha's approach to painting involves balancing opportunity and control, improvisation and planning. Using watercolor and ink on paper, Ha describes painting as spontaneous expression, and centers subjects such as time, emotion, and identity. Ha creates imagined landscapes and abstract spaces with fluid and translucent colors.
