The works are visually appealing (to me), yet on closer inspection are made up of decaying minerals.This speaks of the bureaucratic rot that exists the world over in politics. It is not visible at a glance, you have to really look and pay attention to see what is going on. This is my own rusting technique, which consists of iron and copper filings suspended in an acrylic medium and washed with various acids to create the effect on canvas and other…
