About this artwork
Diptych, each part measuring 36x62 cm. The painting was painted in two layers of epoxy resin using tempered glass crumbs.
Yla uses the fluidity and transparency of resin in its bold compositions to convey the dazzling effects of light and water.
When the sea speaks, one can only be silent. Watch, enjoy, dream and... keep quiet. All the energy and power of this eternal silent element cannot be expressed in words.
Yla tried my best. If you love… the sea, you will understand Yla.
Confidence, calm, movement. If you feel too — it is yours. In it, you will find everything that you lack because it is your sea!
