When Yla has a special mood that is beyond any interpretation, the oceans are born, amazing emerald and so sweetly alluring. Water is a special element - strong, courageous,… powerful, not amenable to taming, and in which fantastic energy is raging. And to transfer all this to the canvas is a real pleasure!
When Yla plunges into work on the ocean, she seems to merge with nature itself ... And the continuation of the wave is the continuation of her energy, her entire existence. At this moment they are one whole - Yla-ocean ... Ocean-Yla ... Where is the end of one and the beginning of the other cannot be made out ... Is it necessary?

Yla Pil is an artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. She characterizes her art as being "not only paintings but also a place of strength in your home". Her artistic practice allows Pil to connect with the universe. Her vibrant abstractions are primarily created using epoxy resin, textural paste, and acrylics on wood.
