About this artwork
In this work, I merged the raw energy of expressionism with the audacity of pop art to capture the passion of a moment during a stroll through the flea markets of Brooklyn. The oil and pastel palette offers a rich texture that makes the contrasts and vibrancy of the colors vibrate. It's a celebration of my childhood memories and the time spent in my room playing with these plastic figurines that I called the men.
