After a frightening accident, with my dominant right hand recovering in a cast, I created this work.
Using my left hand I drew free-style, long wild strokes of oil. Tracing, drawing and writing on the white canvas.
I feel this work embodies the disdain I feel towards the lies and disinformation in this modern age, and pushes for authenticity and awakening.

Yoav Brener is an artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Italy, and Thailand. His works investigate the relationships between the inner and outer worlds, attempting to "shatter the common illusion of separation between the two". Brener creates using oils, acrylics, and ink on canvas, employing his own method of pigment treatments and compounds that produce unusual effects.
