About this artwork
In this work I explore sensory emptiness as the
state in which the senses cease to provide information —
not due to damage but due to saturation or absence
of significant stimulus.
The field is almost entirely indigo: deep,
dense, with no distinction between core and surroundings.
Unlike other works in the series, here
The void does not have a clearly defined center
— the nucleus dissolves in the field because in
There is no inside or outside… in the sensory void,
There is no distance from which to observe.
At the edge, barely visible, the mental yellow
and the physical cyan surrounds without penetrating. A minimum
A touch of magenta peeks out from the bottom right.
The senses exist — but on the periphery,
without access to the center.
It is the darkest work in the series. The void
The sensory experience is neither dramatic nor painful.
It's simply the absence of a signal.
