Yolande Coomans is a painter, printmaker and draftsman based in France whose works have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions both nationally and in Belgium beginning in the 1960s. Her background in classical humanities and philosophy has guided her artistic expression in series and poetic cycles inspired by themes relating to Greek and Latin mythology, as well as classical literature. Coomans' compositions are created using oils, watercolors, India ink on paper, or linen.
