About this artwork
this art work is a one of a kind, original mix of media that is integrating many layers in a long and unique process.
When I am walking around in the nature, by investigating my path and my creativity, there is suddenly a spark that catches my eyes, that I can reflect to its shapes, texture, and colors. this starts a creative process in me.
Then I will search for a female figure with a unique mysterious look, which can be best for me to draw and… paint, so all together can be reflect out of this process.
After i engage all layers in a digital process. then I print it on high quality of canvas, and start a process that is more traditional, by using acrylic, ink, graphite, color pencil, aerosol paints, and whatever that is necessary for the final result. Then put an over varnish laqa to protect it.

Yossi Kotler is an established Israeli painter who has exhibited his work in Tel Aviv. Drawing inspiration from walks in nature, he primarily composes paintings with a central, mysterious female figure, from which swirling shapes and lines evolve. The piercing stares and intricate mysteries of his paintings draw in the viewer and provide the start of a story for them to complete.
